Dr. Small is a board certified physician specializing in advanced skin rejuvenation techniques and advanced non-surgical liquid face lift utilizing cosmetic botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. She completed her undergraduate education at Cambridge University in England, and attended Harvard Medical School. Currently, she is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco and Director of Aesthetic Procedure Training at Natividad Medical Center where she has been training physicians in cosmetic procedures for the last 10 years.

As a recognized authority, Dr. Small has lectured internationally, and published many articles and procedural textbooks. Her publications include: Dermatologic and Cosmetic Procedures in Office Practice, and the best-selling series A Practical Guide to Botulinum Toxin Procedures and Dermal Filler Procedures, Lasers Procedures, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion and topical Products.
